Hi list !

I posted a mail to the list about two weeks ago, in which I complained about thermoglue was causing a short at high voltages.

I must confess: I was wrong ! It wasn't the thermoglue ! I was som determined that the glue was causing the short, but, when the problem still was there after cleaning the PCB from every little piece of glue, I realized that I have to searck for other causes !
The problem was inside an electrolytic cap, by the way ! When it was heated up, everything worked, when cooled down, a breakthrough appeared.

But I have got some useful hints from all who answered me, so you didn't waste your time !

Thank you !

Thank you, Atilla, for letting us know what you found! My time was not
wasted either.

I hate never knowing the answer to some of the mysteries presented on
the PICList   :-(
