I got this msg with the
following:

"This message uses a character
set that is not supported by
the Internet
Service.  To view the original
message content,  open the
attached message.
If the text doesn't display
correctly, save the attachment
to disk, and then
open it using a viewer that
can display the original
character set. "

there is a file attached which
I think contains a virus.

Got a need to read Bar codes?  http://www.barcodechip.com
Bi-directional read of UPC-A, UPC-E, EAN-8, EAN-13, JAN, and Bookland, with
two or five digit supplemental codes, in an 8 pin chip, with NO external parts.

Owwies
that sounds like it will hit a few people. :o(

Why is it that all Bill Gates has created with Windows is not a bunch of
free people doing what they want with technology, Instead he has created a
bunch of sheep. I say free the flock and use a free *nix (I will as soon as
I can find a decent windows emulator to run protel under)

Regards,

Kat.

Hi Brandon,

I went to the website but could  not find a free copy (and I have no CC so
can not do net ordering unless I have an A/C with them)

If you could point me to the right direction I will try it again :o)

Regards,

Kat.

No, this is not a new clever virus. It's an old stupid bug (feature to M$)
in MS Exchange server. When it receives mail with a character set option of
X-roman8, Exchange ignores the tag saying that the e-mail is plain text.

The attached file is the original e-mail message saved as a straight text
file.

There are more details here:
