I have the honor of serving on the Board of Directors for the local Volunteer Fire Department. This vehicle would come out second best in comparison to our Brush Truck. It has insufficient ground clearance. It is unlikely that the tandem axles are both driven. Our truck has dual wheels and both axles are driven. I forget the exact figures, but I expect our "weapons" consist of more than 1000 gallons of water, electric generator, chain saw, breathing apparatus, pike poles, etc. It also has red paint and a dandy siren! BTW, volunteer outfits seldom get factory new trucks and our hand me down set us back about $15,000. In summary, our truck is better than that one! And then there is our really neat truck, the '56 Chevy.....
