Hi James,

I'm sorry that this is causing a problem for you. However, the piclist
admins (who put in a LOT of time working for nothing to maintain a list
with 2,000 subscribers) do not have total control over the listserv that we
use. It is provided free of charge by MIT and we are lucky to have it. They
have made a good deal of changes to the list configuration over the years
but there are some things that they looked into but cannot do because of
the way MIT has things set up. I don't know whether the "reply-to" field is
one such thing but I bet that it is given that it has been a common
suggestion for some time.

Note that the list DOES add a "reply-to: piclist" header, it just doesn't
seem to be willing to override an existing reply-to...

Which I believe is a configuration option (if I recall the docs.
correctly).

Whether our list is "configured correctly" is one that could be debated
forever, and with each person's different priorities, we'd never come to a
single decision as to which is right.  Seems to me that the way it's set
up works for most everyone.
