10 hours into December 25th here at the beginning of time.
December 25th for another 39 hours somewhere on earth.
So
Venturing to bid , should the offer meet or exceed your minimum
standards of acceptability for greetings and salutations, both
generally and also within the present contextual circumstances, you
and all of those who you wish it to apply to of your relatives,
associates, regular and occasional contacts and random strangers who
you may or may not meet during the periods concerned, a culturally
correct politically correct non partisan amorphous dumbed down so as
to be totally inoffensive in any context you may or may not conceive
of it applying to, next 39 hours (or less, depending on where you are
on earth) and an acceptably pleasant time in the 8721 (or more to a
prorated total of 8760 hours) or so hours which follow*.
and / or ,
**** but only for those who can take the pace ****
Wishing you, your friends and all around you a blessed and joyful and
satisfying Christmas and an equally satisfying year to come.
best wishes
Russell

* This offer may also apply in areas, contexts, administration or
locations in general where such salutations are proscribed, illegal,
forbidden or generally frowned upon.

Jesus is the reason for any season...
However there aren't too many christians (less than 33% if we mix them
all under the same umbrella) compared with the number of the people on
the earth, and His name is allways in the middle of all major
conflicts... So definitely this is true.
For the 67%, please translate "Merry Christmas" in your own message.
Vasile
P.S. Remember that talking politics is forbidden on this list, so just think.

If you don't have a Greek font then you may be missing something in line 5.
And, as I do and I am, something in the system has, not surprisingly, eaten
the payload on it's round trip back to me.
As it was sent in "plain text" this is entriely acceptable and expected.

Russell, you need to specify encoding when you send the message. This sort
of thing (a message full of ??s) happens to me all the time when I forget to
specify Cyrillic as the encoding.
