Why Yes! I wrote an improvement to Eagle's original BOM.ULP script, that pretties it up for import into Excel. No, from within the schematic window, about halfway across, there are 2 very similar buttons, the one on the right is the ULP button. It has ULP on it but is barely legible. ... Or if you just type Run within Eagle, a directory of all your ULP's will pop up. Eagle has two powerful ways to customize - ULP's and Scripts. A script is like a "macro", just a list of commands that execute in sequance. A ULP is a real C-Like programming language that can make decisions. One of the reasons I chose Eagle is the ability to do ULPs and SCRs. There are ULPs that generate Bill of Materials, Drill tables, autodimension your board, autoplace your components, convert to Tango and a bunch of other CAD formats, and all kinds of other stuff. While I am no expert in Eagle's ULP language, I find it pretty easy to take an existing ULP and make a few changes without much head scratching. Right now I am struggling with autodimensioning. I have a nice routine (also on the Eagle Download site) that auto-dinensions your board and then makes a drill table. Unfortunately it was written prior to Eagle 4.1, and they have changed the format of the ARC command since then, so auto-dim doesn't work anymore. I haven't sat down to fix it yet, been too busy with other stuff.
