It's time for a slap on the forehead moment for me. :) I'd appreciate if someone has the time to show me what I'm doing wrong. I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2000 SP3 9.0.0.6627: My PICLIST posts always come out not as I intended in terms of formatting. :( I have the following setting: Automatically wrap at 76 characters when sending When I compose the message, it definitely does not wrap at 76 characters -- that's why it looks awful because the word wrap is done when sending. Is there any way I can set the word-wrap when *composing* my message? I've been looking through the help, but can't see anything that helps me out in this regard. Thank you. I still can't find a way that let's you set the word-wrap line length while *composing* in Outlook's editor. Plain text should be a WYSIWYG format, but rarely is with Outlook. Have a look at http://www.lemis.com/email/email-format.html for the problems that Outlook causes by word wrapping output plain-text emails. Ken, If you do the trick of setting a narrow window width, as suggested by someone else to get a good idea of how it will look when sent, then when you've finnished composing, close the window without sending. It will be saved in your drafts folder. You can then double click the email in the drafts folder and preview it before sending. The preview will have been wordwrapped, and you will see how it will look to the rest of the world. Hope this helps! All the best...Mike. {Original Message removed}

I archive all PICLIST messages on my local machine for reference purposes, so if these e-mail clients offer more in that regard than Outlook then that would be great.
