Has anyone registered at opencores.org lately? It's been a few years
since I've logged into the website, and actually I don't remember
being required to. I wanted to download the OpenRISC 1000 project so I
tried to register: I had to answer 20 questions, literally, and it
said my registration has been sent for approval. How open is opencores
these days? Does anyone have a recent snapshot of the OpenRISC
processor HDL code?

I just went through the same process, frankly it's insane. The
information they wanted was way outside my "personal privacy level".

So, I faked it all, put clearly wrong information in every single box.

It was "sent for approval", and was approved a few hours later.

I doubt a person read any of it since it was clearly bogus information I
was supplying.

I don't know what's gotten in to them, but to require that sort of
personal information is unreasonable to me.
