I've saved off several of the RF discussions and reviewed what was discussed in them, but isnt quite what I need.
 
 Short range RF transiever module, some sort of ISM band is fine (actually might hit europe so need something good for there) and its going to be very short bursts of data, like 30 bytes or less.  Price tho....needs to be $5 or so.  I know..asking for the moon but is anyone familiar with something in that price range, qty 300-500 run rates.
