'[EE] highly accurate resistors'

Good day to all.

I'm looking for sources of high accuracy resistors: 250R 0.01% or
0.025%.  Digi-key doesn't have these.

I've purchased these from Arrow in the past but am looking for
additional suppliers.  Any thoughts?

Many thanks!

dwayne

I used to go to Caddock in the past for this sort of thing.

Is this for a 4-20mA sense resistor?

http://www.reichelt.de has 0.1% (code is MPR + value)

0.01% of 250R is 0.025 Ohm... doesn't the solder joint add more
resistance than that?

What is the resistor brand?

And have you checked to see who the official distributors are for the
brand in question?

Only Wishay. But I dont know if they are still allive.
All precision resistors I worked with this brand where extremely
expensive but also very high quality.

They are hard to get even when they claim to have stock. I only needed a few but ended up ordering what will probably end up being a lifetime supply. Problem is I ordered them in July, and still haven't seen em. Just hope there is a project left to work on by the time they show.

Unfortunately high precision resistors do seem to have very long lead times, I suspect because they are made to order rather than a stock item.  I have had some success getting a few parts from Farnell before, but the range they stock is quite small.

http://www.rhopointcomponents.com/ specialise in precision stuff of all kinds - should be able to
find something there, probably ex-stock

Caddock is great on sampling....got 5 ea for a 4-20mA sense project.
