'[EE] Thermagon PCB manufacturer?'

HI,

I'm thinking to design a custom PCB for some power LEDs.

Generally, these 3~5W LEDs come packaged on a hexagonal plate.

Instead of using this, I want to buy the bare LEDs and design my own
PCB for them.

The thermally-conductive material is called Thermagon (tm).

Does anyone know of a circuit board supplier that can manufacture
these boards?  (in prototype and small production quantities.)

Regards,
Mark

Never underestimate the thermal conductivity of a copper poured PCB
riddled with large plated through holes.

Might be something to consider, depending on how you're planning on
getting the heat out of the enclosure anyway.  You might find it does
well enough without the special PCB material.

I just saw something from IRC that embedded the traces on a heatsink....specifically designed for LED's.  The unit I saw was made for brake lights in cars.  Is this the stuff your thinking about?  Check with your local IRC rep....else I might be able to dig something up on it.
