'[EE] Shiny heat shrink tube'

Hello,
I would need a heat shrink tube which is shiny. I could see similar tubes
used for LiPo batteries wrapped around the whole - I would need a smaller
diameter but the same look-a-like. Colours would be mainly black and
transparent, but if other colours looks nice I also interested.
So far I could not find any, so that's why I was wondering if anybody here
knows such a supplier or manufacturer who ships to Europe.
Thanks very much,
Tamas

What diameter do you need? The Shrink used on battery
packs tends to be PVC and different from wire-style in
that it shrinks in both directions, but you can get it
down to about 1/2 inch starting diameter...

At the moment I'm using 9mm with 2:1 shrinking ratio, but if that is a 3:1
it would do. It is also ok to me if it shrinks length as well as diameter -
I would like to cover a small board by that with few smd components on it.
The only thing is that it has to insulate it electrically and also has to
look nice.
I start looking for PVC tubes then, but if you can point me a part no of
digikey, radionics (rs) or farnell (or anithing else), i would appreciate it
a lot.
Thank you,
Tamas

The main source I know of is the radio control market, where it's
sold to people who are constructing their own battery packs in odd
sizes. But the smallest size I see is 24mm flat (about 16mm
diameter?), so I'm not sure it would work for you:

On this theme: I have discovered that the local suppliers suddenly sell 'brand
name' shrink tubing (including the wide type). By brand I mean that the maker's
brand is printed all over the tubing. This is not helpful for my use. Is there
some known brand that does *not* do this that I could look at ? By brand I mean
supplier (eshop) etc. Of course this information is not available on webshop
sites, that's why I am asking.
thanks,

Does that mean the shrink tube will be free of charge? Sign me up!

I now see all the pictures have reverted to transparent, I'll correct
that.

Oogle on heatshrink and EMI. I found some metallic heatshrink that's
intended for shielding applications. It's not cheap though.. I'd
give you the link, but I don't have it with me.
