Hi all,

I'm searching for a 256Mbytes SRAM-2.5V & 32 bit in single chip.
Any clue?

thx,
Vasile

It's SDRAM not SRAM.

256Mbits maybe?

At Micron all the x32 SDRAM's are 3.3v and noted as end-of-life.  There
are 256Mb x 32 RLDRAMS @ 1.8v.

No, that's the problem. I could do it from 4 packages x 512Mbit but I
have space constrain.
I'm searching for single chip 256Mbytes organised in n blocks of 32
bit (2 Gbit) or as a final choice for 2x 1Gbit as 16 bit lenght
The biggest  SDRAM I found is 512Mbit (which means 64Mbytes)

I'm searching for something non-existent ?

Here's a solution I had used !years! ago for a Commodore64 memory expansion
cartridge:

Mount the chips piggyback, with the chip select pins sticking out. Takes the
footprint of just one package.

Anand

I don't think the 2Gbit chips are out yet, but some of the chip
stacking companies like http://www.3d-plus.com/ look like they are
stacking 512Mbit or 1Gbit die to yield up to 8Gbit in a single
footprint.  I don't see SDRAM at 2.5V, but they have DDR at that
voltage.  I would expect prices to be "scary."
