Looks sort of plausible anyway, but I don't think it's going to work.
It's a lot like a pulse jet, but..

It's obviously never been fired up, and I'm very skeptical about the JB
weld holding up.

There was a picture in one of the local rags here of a guy who built his own
ramjet, and fitted it to a shopping trolley. Unfortunately it doesn't look
like they have online articles.

Shopping trolley...with castors?  The phrase "directional instability"
springs to mind!

He had fitted it with some more sensible wheels, the sort of thing that one
would use on a heavy duty hand cart, and hed some steering capability, and
not using the castor action.

I may try and find the article, and see if I can scan it.
