Hi guys,

I'm looking for an easy to find op amp, capable of rail to rail swing
using a single positive supply (0 to +5v) as for the bandwidth, the
signal to be amplified is <= 1MHz.  I really need this to be an easy to
find part - that would rule out anything made by Maxim =)

Does anybody know of any readly available opamps that fit those
requirements?

I used TI's TLV2370 series in a recent design.  Cheap, available in
single, dual, and quad.

To me, "readily available" means Digi-Key's got 'em in stock.

When you see "rail to rail" in op-amp descriptions it's a marketing term and
may not be what you expect, check the data sheets. As an example, the
TLV2370's definition of rail to rail is 0.1V to 4.9V @ VCC = 5V and 25degC
(See VOH and VOL specs).

Damn! I knew it was too good to be true.  Oh well, the CCD chip needs
positive and negative supplies anyways.

Also take a look at Microchips parts.  They have very low maximum supply voltages, but are fine for 5volt operations, and they really are dirt cheap.
