Some have called all sorts of things the mark of the beast. For
instance, the sync code in the most normal form of bar codes code as
666 if you use the same rules for them as for all the other characters
:-). It always pays to keep an eye on the implication of any new
technology in any area but (IMHO of course) that's a very narrowly
focused view. Any one technology in isolation is unlikely to start to
meet the requirements to be considered as TMOTB by itself. I think
that (IMHO again) if TMOTB is to be taken literally then it is an all
encompassing philosophy of life and not only a physical mark.
