I will be very pleased if anyone can tell me how to AUTO PLACE
components in a Eagle V. 4.03 board.

Regards,

Augusto

Go to http://www.cadsoftusa.com and browse around until you find the downloads
section and the collection of ULPs.  There are a couple of different
auto-place ULPs.  I've tried them and I wasn't all the impressed.  I place
all my boards manually.  Then I route critical traces manually.  If the
board is small (2 layers and less then 50 parts typically) I just route all
by hand otherwise I let the autorouter have a crack at it.  But then I need
to go back through and clean up some of its nonsense.

There are a few autorouter packages out there that can deal with Eagle
boards.  Check out the Eagle/Cadsoft newsgroups.  Again I reference you to
http://www.cadsoftusa.com for more information on the newsgroups.
