Does anyone have any experience with EMC requirements for selling into
China? I understand there is a CCC standard or something. Are the
standards similar to FCC or CE EMC requirements? Will a declaration of
conformity to one of these standards suffice?

THANKS!

Harold

It is my understanding that CCC as currently applied is a very powerful
tool for restraint of trade. A declaration of conformity is not enough,
you must apply for the CCC certificate.

It is also my understanding that homologation between standards is not a
problem.

But I have never been through the process, so don't take my word for it,
I am only relaying things I have gossiped about while doing testing.

Cheerful regards,

Bob
