I've got a three channel Channel Vision analog modulator now.
Would like to move to a digital out solution but prices are obscene.

Anyone seen a consumer priced QAM modulator?

thanks

"they are fairly new and expensive ($899 per box). "

Google "zeevee 150" - $900 for the couple places that list them.
The decimal place is off by a digit for my home projects so I haven't even
called to verify the price.

QAM as in DVB-C or DVB-S or DVB-t (only DVB-c is "really" QAM).
Or some other application?
Or ATSC?

Only if you think €1000+ is consumer pricing http://www.dektec.com/
(I used a €2,500 OFDM/DTT/DVBc multimode card )

Compare Taylor CATV gear No idea on prices but I bought non-digital stuff.

I've also talked to Daphne (Less than €6000 compared to €21000 for Cisco etc CMTS)

The last place I worked used Arris. Cheaper than Cisco/Motorola, better than BigBand, Nice stuff
They appear to do TV stuff as well as DOCSIS

My TV does QAM and ATSC - is ATSC more readily available at a lower cost?
The three channel NTSC modulator was $50 used on eEbay.
Looks like something equivalent is available for $150-$200 new.
