I haven't used a DIL before. I have managed to determine which DIL I can use. http://my.farnell.com/jsp/endecaSearch/partDetail.jsp?SKU=103957&N=0 The question is what kind of connector should I use from the DIL to the programmer? I simply use ribbon cable with the appropriate crimp-on connectors. Just be sure to cut the pins that correspond to the PIC OSC pins or you will never get the oscillator to start. Ribbon cables.... Never though of that. What kind of tool do you use to crimp the cables? Wouter, I saw a nice DIL clip at your site. Do you sell them? KandH?).
