Get a transformer that's .707 x that of the current one? :) You might try a regulator after the rectifier; but you haven't given what your requirements are (current, line regulation requirements, etc.), so it's difficult to suggest something. The larger EE oriented sites have quite a few electronics theory sites that you might want to take a closer look at. Use a controled rectifier! Two diodes and two thyristors or if three phase 6 thyristors ! Control the phase angle and you have a variable dc voltage !( a dimmer for DC) Regards Steve.... {Original Message removed}
