'[EE]: resources in Berlin'

Hi all -

I'm staying in Berlin (Germany) for a couple of months. Looking for a
good place to get parts, in single-piece quantities. Also interested to
meet people working with electronics for interactive art or music...

For the parts, I've been to "Conrad", which is ok for basic things, but
I'm looking for something with more selection; for example what I really
need at the moment is a PCMCIA header. Have also looked at web sites for
Spoerle, Farnell, etc., but am a little confused (don't speak German)
about whether/how I can order small quantities with a credit card, like
with DigiKey etc.

Suggestions appreciated...
