Is there a trick to printing a schematic from Eagle Light?  The process
seems to taking place without any errors, but my printer doesn't react.  At
first I thought that perhaps printing was disabled in the freebie version,
but I haven't found anything to corroborate that.

Many thanks,
RR

Printing is not disabled.  I usually print to PDF, rather than direct to the printer, but it still should work.  If you have a cad program, try exporting to DXF and see if that works for you.

Same thing happens to me with OS Win98.
But with Win2000 all runs ok.
I use a printer Epson   stylus color 680. I update also the drivers
and some time all goes well for two o tree printing sessions.

Sincerely
Renzo

I had a related problem printing to my HP LaserJet 5M. If I print with the postscript driver it won't print proportional fonts - no error message or anything, just no text. If I use a PCL driver it works just fine.

I´ve had the same problem with my printer. I cannot say I've found a
solution but it seems to work if I select the printer every time I
print, even thou it is selected as standard. Hmm... it really sounds
quite mystic when I'm explaining it, maybe my computer has a life of its
own....
