It doesn't work at all with the 'www' added.

Third time around:
Remove the 'k'
http://www.commlinx.com.au/schematics.htm

worth it.

It works both ways for me, but then I'm using Internet Exploder 5 point
something...

Perhaps, but it's even better when you remove the 'k'.

Try again from the start.....

http://www.commlinx.com.au/schematics.htm

(you need "www", you need TWO "mm" in commlinx, you need NO "k" in commlinx.

Actually works with and without the leading www. In case anyone
still cannot get to it, I linked it on my site - in the category
with about a dozen other circuit/schematics sites:

http://www.oricomtech.com/teklink1.htm#Cir2

Note - I find that sometimes you have to punch "Refresh" to get
a page to come up after the initial Error404/etc. [another IE5
goodie from GillBates ???].

Yapp ! and Windows will show you her blue face after that...

http://www.commlinx.com.au/schematics.htm or
http://commlinx.com.au/schematics.htm

are not reachable addresses...

Vasile, both of these addresses work, however, I have found
that they do not work the "first" time - produce the usual
non-found error, but do work after hitting the "refresh"
button. Another Bill Gates' IE5 gotcha?

More likely a refresh from Cache (If you've been there before),
or some broken javascript.

I even tried Lynx, and had no success.

It doesn't help that it isn't properly listed in the DNS tree.
name.ualberta.ca can't find commlinx.com.au:Non-existent host/domain
(subdomains without www -should- still be listed)

However, using the IP address does work.
Name:    http://www.commlinx.com.au
Address:  210.15.198.70

http://210.15.198.70/schematics.htm
but there still is that funny refresh requirement.

Once you get in, there are literally hundreds of project links to
other sites.
