I'm looking for a board house hopefully located in the NW somewhere.
BC,Alberta,Washington etc. I know a couple of you guys have mentioned
a few previously. I've been sloggin through the ones I know of and have
found and thought I'd post and see if anyone else knew of  a few good ones.

I just got off the phone with one place which turned out to be one guy who
wasn't too sure when he could get my "rush' order back as honey season
was coming and he needed to go milk his bees or however they make honey ;-]
(true other than the milking bit).

-I'm looking for a place that can do proto boards

-I'm looking for a place that can do larger runs say 5,000 DS 3"x 3" boards

- places that offer assembly

Just curious what everyone is paying for assembly work piece work/hourly.

Thanks

Dave

Try AP Circuits in Alberta.

I've been getting Omni Graphics http://www.omnigraph.com/  to produce PCB's for
years, and no complaints - but they don't do assembly.  Board assembly
in the SW (that's NW to the folks south of the border) seems tough to
get.  I've had a hard time in the past trying to get small runs of small
boards (e.g. 1"x1", double sided, SMT, 2500pc) done.  Neither Dorigo
http://www.dorigo.com/ nor Enigma http://www.enigmacorp.com/  would touch it, and I
ended up having about 20 hand-built in Kelowna and the balance done in
China.  (_NOT_ a good experience with the off-shore production).

You might talk to Innovative Circuit Technology in Langley.  I have no
idea what their over-all capabilities are, but they are keen to get
work.  I've had recommendations for Canadian Circuits
http://www.canadiancircuits.com/ but again no personal experience there, other
than a very long wait for a quote.

I found this list though.  Might be of use.

ract_Manufacturers/Printed_Circuit_Boards/Fabrication/

I'd really appreciate it if you post what you discover!
