'[EE]: Need source of cable cylinder thingies'

Hi Piclisters,

Seen those plastic cylinders that mount around round cables?

Can anyone tell me what they are called and where I may find a source of
these?

I am looking to put a small PCB inside one with a USB cable out one
end and a RS232 cable out the other. Diameter required would be
~200mm or 6/8 inch (750mils)

This size would allow use of existing USB module but failing a source of
these, I may be able to do my own module for a smaller case.

Any help appreciated.

Regards,

Jim Robertson

Not sure what you mean with the plastic cylinders, but why not use heat
shrink or a film canister?
