Hello everyone,

I need a square wave signal, 120 KHz, 0-5V, 3 mA source with the minimum overhead consumption.
So I hope (I am sure) you can give me some clue to improve my 555 design.
Minimum number of parts is as always favourable.

Thank you very much in advance!

1/4 CD4093 ( cmos schmitt trigger, inverter ) 1 capacitor, 1 resistor
capacitor to ground from both inputs, resistor from output to inputs.
For variable pulse lenght ( on and off ) separe the charging and
discharging capacitor circuit with 2 diodes and 2 resistors like in 555
astable mode.

Hi Jeszs, did anyone help you with this yet?
You need to give more info, like:
* how stable the frequency needs to be.
* what voltage or battery it runs from.
* what size or cost limits you have.
* more info about WHY you need it always helps too.
:o)
