'[EE]: Hex File Parser'

Hi,

While people are talking about hex files, does anyone know of a tool that
can read a standard INTEL hex file (including extended segment offset
markers etc) and dump it in "increasing address" order? I can do this by
uploading the hex into a Softy S4 but it would be nice to be able to grab a
(preferably free) off-the-shelf utility rather than resorting to that or
having to write a Perl script (heaven forbid!).

Regards,
Dan

Thanks, Jerry. It wasn't quite what I wanted (I asked the wrong question)
so it looks like I'll have to resort to a ".pl" job, instead. Thanks again,
though.

part 1 883 bytes content-type:text/plain; charset=us-ascii
It's easy to do in C...
But even easier in Perl.

Except that you'd have to actually write it in Perl. If you do C or C++ than you
can use existing code. Check out gpasm/gpsim on sourceforge or my software for
the Pocket Programmer at terrandev.com/~bfoz/pocket/.
