I have been haunting Ebay for months, trying to find a current probe (DC
to ??MHz), but the complete units still go for a good chunk of change.
I just found an ad for a current probe made by Hioki and distributed by
Hioki USA.  I am getting prices sent to me.  It dawned on me that if
there are enough interested parties on the Piclist, that we could go in
as a group of one or two dozen members for a discount.  If anyone out
there is tired of guesing when working on anything with motor currents,
power supply currents, et cetera, speak up and let us all know.

The four probe models that I show on this web printout are:

3273
DC-50MHz, 15A peak, 0.1V/A, 5mm dia jaw

3274
DC-10MHz, 150A peak, 0.01V/A, 20mm dia jaw

3272, power supply for above two when scope does not have contacts avail

9274
DC-10MHz, 20 rated (?), 2V/20A, 5mm dia jaw

9276
DC-1MHz, 150A rated (?), 1.5V/150V, 20mm dia jaw

3270, power supply for above two when scope does not have contacts
avail.

I am personally gunning for the 9274/3270, as that is probably the only
one i can
afford (waiting patiently for my phone call back).
