But still has protection inbuilt.

Much longer cycle count under moderate use (2000+ cycles at
1C discharge)
Some claims of 5000 cycles (but ... .)
Quite flat discharge at 1C.
Significant voltage drop at higher C - up to about 10C
depending on cell. More in some.

Taiwanese manufacturer licensed by Californian patent
holders.
