Hi,

I'm wondering if there is a hardware/software combo capable of
programming GAL22V10 parts for Linux.  I see a few projects based on an
Elektor schematic, but it only handles older GAL components.

Actually, a nice generic PAL/GAL programmer would be ideal, but this
part is really all I care about at the moment.

thanks!

gpal has nothing to do with PAL's or GAL's. Instead, gpal is another high
level language targeting PICs.

Oops, sorry.  Thanks for the correction.

There's the GALBlast, designed by Manfred Winterhoff, IIRC. Works great, but
only programs GALs. I'm not sure if there's a Linux driver available, though.

Later.

Heh, so I search for "gpal" at Debian:
http://packages.debian.org/stable/non-US/gpal

Danged namespace conflicts ;)

This looks good, actually, I will probably write the software since he
has made all of the description public.  Thanks for the link!
