I'm putting this in with an EE tag. http://www.digitalsundial.com/ Utterly brilliant. Much dearer than one might hope. What we want is a revolving propeller clock or oscillating arm type that is solar powered and uses sun position to deduce the time, as this does. Actually, Russell, there are no electronics involved. I think you got caught by the same frame of mind that I was (when you hear digital, you immediatly think electronics :) ). I wanted people to know I knew but not tell them too much in advance so they could share the same discovery process. ;-) My first thought was that it WAS electronic but it rapidly became evident that it wasn't.
