'[BUY] Footswitch and Pendant Switch'
2008\08\22@151139 by Josh Koffman

face picon face
Hi all. I'm looking for a foot operated switch and a pendant type
switch (handheld switch on a cable) for an idea I want to try out. I'm
only looking for one or two of each. I was hoping some of the surplus
dealers would have something (particularly BG Micro, they have a bunch
of other things I could add to the order...) but so far a check of BG
Micro, Sparkfun, All Electronics, Alltronics and Electronics Goldmine
has come up a little dry. Does anyone know of someone else who has
them in stock?

Thanks!

Josh

completely foolproof is to underestimate the ingenuity of complete
fools.

Hmm.. for prototyping, a foot operated switch could be borrowed from a
sewing machine.

Or maybe something like this:

Or look at musical keyboard "sustain" footswitches - they're usually
just a NO switch with an "eighth-inch mono audio" style plug on the end.
