'[BUY]: Simple programmer via ICD2 connector'

I'm currently using a Microchip ICD2 for programming and debugging for a
standalone project we're working on. We'd like to be able to do field
upgrading via the same connection (ICD2 RJ-11 connector) on the board.
The default option is for field technicians to use the ICD2. However,
all we need to do is program. What third party programmer only
solutions are available that uses the ICD2 of connection? I'd like to
find something more economical and easier to use than MPLAB.
Thanks,
Matt

It looks as if the Fobbit may have the same connector; I'd write them
and ask.
