This is lifted directly from a David VanHorn email (somebody employ that
man!) but may easily have been overlooked. It is useful enough to be worth
posting as a separate message.

Lists basic characteristics of all AVRs and you can sort on any one
parameter.

<www.atmel.com/dyn/products/param_table.asp?family_id=607&subcat_id=&
OrderBy=1250&Direction=ASC#>

Unfortunately the sort is brain dead and does not preserve the sub-ordering
from previous sorts. If it did it would allow useful multi parameter
sorting. It can however be copied directly into eg Excel and sorted there as
required.

AVRFreaks' device list is another good one, I like it because it lists
the obseleted parts as well.

I also especially like their "coments", ie  from tiny12 'detail':

Comments:
    * pin compatible with 2323, less features.
    * pin compatible with 2343, less features.
    * pin compatible with tiny11, more features.

It'd be even nicer if it was clearer about WHICH "less features/more
features" they were talking about...
