I think we may be getting close to placing an order for the Batten Allen
pins used in the Basic Stamp 2. We will be forced to buy far more pins than
we need initially, is anyone else interested?

I am, though probably not a huge quantity (unless they are very, very cheap).

How many extra will you have, and how much will they be
(approximately) before S&H?

Also a datasheet would be nice.

Datasheet:

No P/N yet, but likely same characteristics as Parallax pins (substrate size
~55 mils, 0.1" pitch).

I'll update again once we actually get the pins in.

I'd be interested in a small number - perhaps a hundred - if
the price with shipping isn't outrageous  :-)

Maybe you should get in touch with Sparkfun, to see if they're interested in
making these available from their site? Our shipping process is optimized
for higher weight/value products, these pins are too light/cheap.

How about sending Vitaliy a SASE and $10 ?
He could scoop 200 pcs into the envelope and post it.
As long as he has a simple way of counting 200 pcs.

From my look at the web site they come on a spool all connected
together.  0.100"  centers =20 inches =200 parts.
The parts keep their spacing and alignment if you leave them on the
strip and and remove it after they are soldered to the board.
