Hi all,

Here's another hand held portable programmer to add to the collection.

Does most of the mid range PICs (12S 12P 14C 14F 16C - 16F when
available) and a few serial EEPROMs, can be used stand alone, ICSP, 32K
storage memory, and has the experimenters interface that hooks into my
graphical Windows simulators.

Desktop powered with a standard wall wart.
Portable powered with 2 small AAA cells.

The kit should be available as soon as I get some parts off back order.

Hi,

I am thinking of buying your programmer but need to know about some issues
like:
(As I informed earlier, I am a beginner with PICs having no background of
(Electronics, although have been acting as senior CAD Analyst involved in
Engineering App. Development using RAD Tools like VB etc for the last 10
years).)

Does this programmer suit a beginner like me. What level of knowledge is
required?
Can it be used with MPLAB?
Shall I be able to write my programs in PIC ASM format.
Have you done the evaluation.?
Which modules to purchase as mentioned on the site.?

Friendly Regards,

UbaidUllah,
