There are some of us over the pond as well :-)

G0GMK here. Near to Southampton. QRV all HF bands (data modes mainly),
2M, 70cms, 23cms ATV, 13cms ATV, 3cms ATV
and believe it or not the ATV repeater GB3IV is controlled by a single
PIC designed and written by yours truly :-)

I did an AVR version, an 8 pin dip with no crystal, that does courtesy tones
(multiple tones/durations) CWID, timeout and kerchunck timers, and senses
battery voltage. If outside the limits, it doubles (high volts) or halves
(low volts) the CT speed.
Tiny-15 project.. Just needs a few discretes for interfacing.

And G1BYY here - although I haven't been on the air for ages - so many hobbies, so little time!  :-)

Formerly WA9BXZ here ... sadly no ARRL types here to do their magic
re-certification or whatever for transition to Thai license.

I've been out of the states for a few decades ... the license originally
lapsed during an extended period of inactivity due to the VN war.  With all
of the new license classes they say (US) I have to take an additional
written set of elements to upgrade to general class.  The old CW and other
written elements stand okay, but the additional exam has to be in front of a
certified examiner.  ARRL gave me the email addresses several years ago of 2
examiners who come through Bangkok, but neither of them answered any of many
emails sent.

Actually the restrictions here are so severe that there isn't much lost
anyway :-(

I used to be was HG5CAG but did not make a single QSO in the last 15 years
or so - I think even my licence expired.

They went. Lots of Military Surplus stuff too.
I need to drag out the old tube manuals and sell them for cheap on EBAY or
put them in the trash. I probably have a couple of 6146's somewhere. I
recall building a 6 meter transmitter with one a long time ago.
