I noticed that my 28 pin dsPIC has only two ports: PORTA and PORTB,
but more than 16 IO pins. PORTB controls more than 8 pins. So are just
the SFRs 16 bits wide or are all the memory registers (GPRs) 16 bits
wide?

In the 24H, memory and I/O are all 16 bits wide. I believe the same is
true for the dsPIC.

So for the PIC32, is each memory register 32 bits wide?

Aren't this realy easy to see in any of the
dsPIC or PIC32 datasheets ?

PIC32 are just general purpose 32-bit MIPS cores. It's a standard 32-bit
processor, with 16 or 32 (can't remember) 32-bit registers.

Clearly you haven't even tried to read the manual.  The basic architecture
of the dsPIC is well covered in the manual, and needs to be understood
before attempting to do much else with it.  Go do your homework.

This is past rediculous.  You've been told this many times.  RTFM.
