Instead of starting yet another compiler, why not continue/complete the
PICLite language compiler. It's a nice "C"-like language that seems pretty
intuitive, yet never really got to the point where lots of people used it.
I would think that if it were cleaned up and promoted a little, people might
be inclined to start using it as beginners.
I really only program in assembly, so I guess I probably wouldn't switch
over, but maybe others would. Beginners might benefit most, I imagine.
