I severely miss the ability to use my parallel port for I/O using Basic
under XP. I can get QBasic to run Ok under XP (sort of - it sounds like
my computer is about to levitate but...) And when I diddle the parallel
port with basic I see minute activity with my DVM but nothing useable.
Has anyone here found the way to use the parallel port for I/O with
basic under XP
I have an old small sony VAIO that I can boot off of a floppy with an
old DOS and then the port works fine but I have to run totally off of
the floppy - no access to the C drive.
