 TIP for DOS compiler users:  If you've got Windows for WorkGroups
 v3.11 with the 32-bit disk/file access enabled, compile your code
 under a Windows "DOS box" instead of vanilla MS-DOS... you may cut
 the compiler file i/o time in half.
